Hi, my name’s Marc! I’m the founder of MDC Decorating Specialists Pty Ltd, an accomplished family business who services the Sunny Gold Coast.
While our roots have settled on the coast, we weren’t always around. The business actually originated in the UK, after I honed my skills spending 21 years in the painting industry. That’s a lot of painting experience! It may seem like all painters have the same thing to offer. We paint.
But make no mistake, from our UK roots to now, we rise to the challenge of taking on any and all painting jobs. Whether it be exterior or interior, big, small or even just a mark on the wall, you can trust that we will approach it with passion and the goal to do the best job possible. We know that a job like this requires trust to allow someone into your home and operate with the highest of care around your furniture and belongings.
Finally, it is important to note that a business is only as good as the foundations it lays. The building blocks to ensure success. Exceeding customer expectations and holding close the values that began this journey to where it is now, is what sets us apart.

Roof Restoration Process
Your roof will first receive a high pressure clean to remove mould/mildew, dirt and debris. We’ll clean your gutters at the same time!
After the clean, we seal your roof with a high quality penetrable primer seal from Globalcote, this product soaks into your surfaces and won’t just sit on top. This ensures a perfect bond for the following topcoats.
Then we meticulously repair/prep your roof for the top coats of membrane by eliminating cracks and holes, replacing tiles, re-do pointing - if you have a colourbond Tin roof, we check all of the nuts and seals and replace where necessary. We do this so your roof can last for as many years as possible before requiring a replacement, saving you money in the long run.
As for your waterproof membrane topcoats, we use Globalcote Elastacote which is also mould and mildew proof as well as UV proof! Globalcote Elastacote also comes in a range of colours for your choosing.
We take care in protecting areas or surfaces surrounding the roof not receiving this treatment. All applications are applied with our dedicated roof airless spraying machine! We only want to spray the topcoat where it is needed.
