Hi, my name’s Marc! I’m the founder of MDC Decorating Specialists Pty Ltd, an accomplished family business who services the Sunny Gold Coast.
While our roots have settled on the coast, we weren’t always around. The business actually originated in the UK, after I honed my skills spending 21 years in the painting industry. That’s a lot of painting experience! It may seem like all painters have the same thing to offer. We paint.
But make no mistake, from our UK roots to now, we rise to the challenge of taking on any and all painting jobs. Whether it be exterior or interior, big, small or even just a mark on the wall, you can trust that we will approach it with passion and the goal to do the best job possible. We know that a job like this requires trust to allow someone into your home and operate with the highest of care around your furniture and belongings.

Roof Painting Process
Your roof restoration starts with a powerful high-pressure clean to remove mould, mildew, dirt, and debris — and we’ll even clean your gutters while we’re at it!
Next, we apply a premium Globalcote penetrable primer seal that soaks deep into your roof’s surface, creating a strong, lasting bond for the topcoats — not just sitting on top like cheaper alternatives.
We then carefully repair and prepare your roof for the membrane coating. This includes fixing cracks and holes, replacing damaged tiles, and redoing pointing. For Colorbond roofs, we inspect all nuts and seals and replace them where needed. This detailed preparation ensures your roof lasts for years longer, saving you from costly replacements down the track.
For your topcoat, we use Globalcote Elastacote — a waterproof, UV-resistant, and mould-proof membrane available in a wide range of colours to suit your home.
We take great care to protect all surrounding areas during the application process. Every coat is applied using our professional roof airless spray system to ensure smooth, even coverage where it’s needed most.
